Dona Kappmeyer is a third-generation entrepreneur, award-winning business coach, and seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience spanning corporate leadership and small business ownership. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, she has partnered with mid-sized and large organizations across industries including construction equipment, transportation, manufacturing, telecommunications, media, and outdoor advertising.
With a strong foundation in accounting, operations, process improvement, and leadership development, Dona is known as a results-driven change agent who understands the realities business owners and executives face. From operational bottlenecks and communication breakdowns to disengaged teams and stalled growth, she brings clarity to complexity—breaking challenges into practical, actionable strategies that drive measurable results.
In 2022, Dona returned to her entrepreneurial roots by launching ActionCOACH - KGP, focused on business coaching and education, and KAPPital Gain Plan Consulting, specializing in business process improvement. Through these firms, she helps organizations align their people, strengthen systems, and build scalable, sustainable performance.
As a Certified Executive Business Coach, CPA, and Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Dona blends strategic insight with hands-on experience to guide leaders through meaningful transformation. Her coaching style is practical, focused, and empowering—helping leaders grow with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
Dona is deeply committed to giving back and currently serves on the boards of three nonprofit organizations. She and her family have called La Vernia, Texas home for over two decades. When she’s not coaching or consulting, Dona enjoys fishing in Port Aransas with her family.
